Wonderful campground with a great staff. Lots of upgrades were made to the camp sites this spring. Gravel was added to the RV pads and tent areas had new steps and railings installed, trees were trimmed. Cabins have had porches improved and new playground equipment...More

We drove in from Murphy NC and Spent the day at Vogel State Park. Car entrance was $5.00. Canoe rentals were $25/2 hours. lovely state park l! There was bbq area, shaded areas, bathrooms and a visitor center. Best of all a gorgeous waterfall!! Would...More

Rented a 2 bedroom cabin at Vogel. Check in was easy and the mattresses were comfy. Very family oriented with lots to do like fish, hike, playground. Very quiet and a nice putt-putt course. Will be back.

Nice trail around lake. Great place for kids to ride bikes. Very quiet at night! Staff was super friendly!

I would take clothes for warm and cold weather. It can get pretty chilly at night in April. Better to have warm clothes in case you need them.

The park doesn’t list quiet hours but park hours are 7 am to 10 pm.
