We rented a car and went on our own, it was a pretty long drive to get there. The beach was completely deserted as it was a working day. We had the beach to ourselves but it was very windy. You have to rent chairs...More

A fascinating place on the east coast. We drove down here after visiting the Devils Bridge. Great breeze! Very different to the Caribbean side of the island. Rugged. We stopped for over an hour and didn't want to leave. The Beach Bum cafe was a...More

If you love to body surf, this is the place to go. High waves, rough water and lots of sand. The most fun for an afternoon.

We rented a van from cruise port and drove our family directly to Half Moon Bay. What a beauty. Water is a bit more active than some of the other beaches, but the sand and views were wonderful. We stayed for a couple hours then...More

Generally quiet with plenty of space to have some peace and quiet. Spectacular setting, soft sand and away from the hussle of busier beaches

Stopped here to admire the view and have lunch at the beach bar. Great shrimp wraps, very tasty! Took a while, but worth the wait. Bay looks nice too. Bit too much seaweed for my taste, but quiet and wild, just how I like it!

The view from the top on your way there is gorgeous. The water is rough, but go to the further left that’s a nice area for bathing. Lot of parking space.

This place is a little jewel. Situated right on one of the prettiest beaches on Antigua, Tippy and Avery serve excellent local cuisine with dollops of charm. Menu scribbled on bar counter: fresh fish, hot dog, grilled lobster. Ask keys for stand-alone loo. What is...More

There is Smiling Harrys along the road, but we went to the Beach Bum Shack overlooking the bay a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely excellent. Can recommend the grilled chicken strips.
