Manatee Lagoon was one of our favorite excursions while visiting Palm Beach. We were able to view at least a dozen manatee, sharks, sea turtles, barracuda and other fish. There is no charge to view the manatee. Inside was educational exhibits and a nice gift...More

We set up a tour for our CFA South Florida Society, as a fun family networking event. It was educational and fun and both the adults and kids had a blast and we all learned more about Manatees. You do need to arrange group tours...More

This free center provides information on manatees, a nice gift shop and if you are lucky, live manatees! Manatees seek out the warm water in the discharges from Florida Power & Light Company. The center is built to oversee where they can often be found...More

We’re so glad you got to catch a few of our sea cow friends when you visited. Thank you so much for the kind review – come back any time.

This is a great free stop for the family to learn about the Manatee and maybe get to see some in their lagoon. The tours are self guided and staff were there to answer any questions that you may have.

This visitor center looks brand new and offers a chance to glimpse Manatees in a natural environment. We did not have the opportunity to see any manatees, but the lack of anything to see or do here limits the chances that we will return. It...More

Thank you so much for visiting! Manatees are notoriously unpredictable, so unfortunately there's never a way to know if they'll be paying us a visit. But you can always check out our Manatee Cam at http://www.visitmanateelagoon.com/manatee-cam/ before your next trip. We also offer programming throughout...More

This is a well designed, clean beautiful facility. Tons of information about manatees and the local area. Best part is that it’s free!

What a beautiful facility they have built for the education of our manatees. It is very child friendly with lots of educational displays for children. However, we saw no manatees as we had one cold night and was told that we have to have 4...More

Hi..November thru April are considered the best times because the manatees are moving around looking for warm water. In July the chances of an encounter is less but not impossible.
