Brian and his entire staff were incredibly hospitable & super friendly as well as knowledgeable on all the candy and very helpful with everything. The store itself is amazing! They have so many options as well as freeze dried candy options! And their chocolate covered gummy bears are delicious! I definitely will be going back for a scheduled candy tour next time!

Ken was wonderful with my grandchildren as a tour guide and the adults as well! We learned about the origins of chocolate and many interesting facts about the candy making industry. The selection of candy was totally amazing and my grandchildren squealed with delight at the huge selection. Thanks for a really fun morning!

The tour guild really knew what he was talking about and had a great sense of humor, made my whole family laugh. Even if you don’t do one of the tours the candy store had amazing popcorn flavors and all the candy you could ever wish.

What a Fun Time!

As soon as you enter the store, You're a Kid in a Candy Shop, no matter your age.

Classic Candies, including some you haven't seen in years, are all there; immediately putting a smile on your face.

The Staff are all very nice and helpful.

Call ahead to schedule the Tour. It is Fun and Informative, and Ken does a great job of guiding the Tour; sharing his knowledge and passion of all things Candy.

Visited this place with my friends for my birthday after finding it on Atlas Obscura. We did the tour and it was well worth the money! Our tour guide Ken was very knowledgeable and funny! Learned a lot of interesting things on the tour. The store is also very cool. Lots of neat and delicious candies and chocolate sweets are offered here and a lot of which you can't find anywhere else in person. They also have a very expansive popcorn selection as well, from sweet to salty. Great to buy for yourself or as gifts for friends and family! I highly recommend this place! :) I'll be back 😊

A candy lover’s paradise! Brian was amazing, friendly, fun. Loads of those nostalgic candies from my youth, so many favorites, my young adult son enjoyed my stories as I reminisced about memories an old candy triggered. Loved the selection of bulk candies, and a bargain! Picked out a few for fun (had to control myself). Highly recommend for the young and old. Be sure to book the history of candy tour online!

Got a private tour from the owner ! Thanks to Covid. Very educational from beginning of time how candy began. Very patient and helpful staff. I felt like a kid in a candy shop! Brought back a lot of good memories. I felt like I won the golden ticket. Thank you Ken for making our anniversary extra special. Of course brought lots of sweets home.

We took a tour of the history of candy with the wonderful Ken as our tour guide (who is also a skilled photographer)! He was an amazing guide and made us feel really welcome! The store is a dream for any candy lover and the tour even more with the yummy free samples and loads of sweet information about all the candies I love! I 100% recommend the tour and a visit to the Candy Store as well!

I recently took my visiting family on the Tour. It was a delightful experience! Tour rooms are artistically striking: both colorful and clever in their use of candy. Lots of fun history facts for both kids and adults. Actual candy store is bright and cheerful and full of candy memories!

If your looking for a little fun off the beach for kids of all ages, this is a good choice. Their 45 minute tour provides an interesting overview of the history of candy around the world, a look back at many commercial candy treats the adults will remember from their childhood, and even a quick video of how gummy worms are made. There’s a room filled with candy art and a little gummy tasting at the end. You end up in the retail store where you can put together your own bag of treats, and there’s even a flavored popcorn counter. The people are very friendly and our guide Ken who owns the place with his brother was very knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. A must stop for visitors in the area.
