We were visiting the area and dining at Pistache French Bistro. We were told that the Clematis Street area was worth visiting, so showed up an hour early so we could look around. Although Pistache was excellent, everything else was very disappointing on Clematis Street.
Visted clematis street many times its going downhill and shops are closinh its beginning to resemble ghetto spome to many people the greed of renting is killing them and the crime is terrible allyou see is cops everywhete that is a bad sign
What a nice area this is. Clematis at night, on Thursdays, is a great way to party in downtown West Palm Beach. Lots of restaurants, some more my favorite than others, but plenty of selection for whatever suits you at the time.
Lots of restaurants, some clubs, the Palm Beach Drama Works live theater productions--lots happening. Thursdays feature "Clematis by Night" with special events, live music in the park at the end of the street. The happening place in WPB almost any evening.
The title says it all: lots of places to eat! Sports bars, hamburger joints and Mexican food are the main fares. The street just started a rejuvenation to make it more pedestrian friendly. Can't wait to see the finished product.
