The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium (former South Florida Science Museum) provides curious minds of all ages with an entertaining and educational journey through science and technology. The Science Center features more than 50 hands-on exhibits, a digital planetarium, freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as natural history exhibitions. Established in 1961, the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium is a non-profit institution dedicated to its mission; "Open Every Mind to Science".

This is a great science center for all ages. There were a lot of hands on learning experiences and a wonderful aquarium. There is also an outdoor play area with putt-putt golf.

It's too expensive for the size of the center. For the most part, the "aquarium" is a handful of fish tanks and the "science center" is a handful of interactive exhibits. It took us less than an hour to explore the exhibits.More

We loved the Bodies expo! Kids are 8 and under on spring break. The whole museum has something for all ages. Definitely a nice trip out w the family.More

I believe it's $13 for kids, $15 for seniors, and $17 for adults. Google it for current info. It's worth going!
