We loved this place! The boat tour was great, with lots of sightings of alligators and manatees, in addition to many varieties of birds. We stayed in the lodge, which is far from modern, but very charming and comfortable. Our room was on the smaller side, but I know some rooms have more than one bed. The restaurant has amazing... I visited Wakulla Springs on family vacation as a child.... Vivid memories of the glass-bottom boat ride, watching the guide's penny sparkle all the way down to the sandy bottom, the delightful "trained" fish who leapt back & forth over the pole when tour boats droned overhead, and jumping from the platform into that chilly water!!! Almost forty years later,... More

This is one of the worlds largest natural springs and if you're in the area its well worth the effort to spend time here. Entrance is $6 per car and boat trips $8pp. There's also a lodge dating back to the late 30's and you can look around inside and visit the gift shop/cafe which has one of the longest... More

Take the boat ride, it's not expensive and you will be impressed. The ride takes about an hour or so and the time just flies. The boats are very safe and the guides are extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, vegetation and history of the area you travel through. I was very surprised at how much wildlife we saw - alligators,... More

We actually went here for the first time to attend one of the Monthly Nature walks put on by the park rangers. Our guide Charlie obviously was totally into the forest and had an incredible knowledge of the flora. The one and a half hour walk was on easy flat trails, but we did opt to be lead off the... More

Had a great experience! The weather was gorgeous! We walked around a bit and then took the boat ride and our Ranger was awesome! Anyone that wants to see unspoiled Florida should visit!

I have been to Wakulla Spings many times over the years. On a hot summer day it is a great place to swim, although some people shy away from the cool waters even then. The restaurant and the Lodge and the Gift Shop and Snack Bar are inviting places. There are also nature trails. And, then there is the boat... More

While visiting the lodge, we spent time down by the springs and took a boatride. It was delightful and a photographer's dream. We got some beautiful photos of birds and the surrounding forest. Go, relax and enjoy.

This place is beautiful. The lodge is warm and inviting. Great place to swim. And you have to take the boat tour. It is about an hour and only cost 8 dollars. I saw deer, a raccoon, alligators, turtles and a wide variety of birds.

We drove over 15 minutes from St Marks for the 50 minute boat ride. The times of rides vary depending on the day - you can call and ask if needed. No RSVP, first one only. Our guide was very knowledgable and a great treat to get up close to the alligators and birds. We only saw one manatee. Make... More
