Beautiful place to go for walking, kayaking and enjoying nature. I saw lots of manatees when I was there recently!

The park is kept clean and is easy to navigate. We recommend taking the trail out to the other side. You may or may not see manatees but it is a special place by itself. Take time to enjoy the quiet!

We spend a lot of time here every year seeing the manatees on the river side. A great place to launch your kayak or canoe. And a wonderful place also to walk your dog. The beach is also exceptional....but no dogs allowed there. A must...More

I am not too sure. But, it would probably be wise to call ahead. Those parks are patrolled by volunteers.
