It's a pretty place to go for a walk. I like the beaches and other parks better but if you want to have a nice place to walk, ride a bike, picnic, it is a nice area. It seemed very popular with local folks (I live over an hour away). We did see some birds and enjoyed time out enjoying... More

Paved bike path, beautiful scenery with water views along the intercoastal! We started our bike ride at the south end, parking at Shamrock Park and rode all the way to the Train Depot in Venice, then pushed our bikes across the bridge, and rode back down the opposite side of the waterway. The path winds around a manufactured home community,... More

Very pleasant spot to enjoy the outdoors. Some people put up a beach chair and watch the boats go by. Others picnic, jog, walk or cycle. We cycled it. A bobcat and an iguana ran across the trail in front of us. Good place for all ages.

This wonderful linear park provides bike and walking trail from one end of the island to the other. Part of what earned Venice the designation as a "Bicycle Friendly" city.

This trail along the inner coastal waterway was perfect for a bike-lunch-beach day. There is ample parking near Caspersen Beach. We rode a few miles north (on west trail) and locked bikes at historic Old Venice. Trail is nice and flat! Enjoyed SPECTACULAR lunch at Trattoria outdoor cafe and ice cream at Venice Ave Creamery. WATCH OUT, STAY ON TRAIL,... More

We found this waterway trail one day when I was looking for a new place to take the dogs out for a walk. Venice is a busy little town with heavy traffic being the biggest complaint, especially during the winter snowbird season. Here, right in the middle of town, there is NO traffic! It is beautiful, and we enjoy the... More

Along the Inter-coastal channel. I believe it is handicapped accessible. There are bicyclists however they are courteous. You can go for as short or as long a walk as you want to.

Nice, clean open area for families, recreation and nature. Nice for get-togethers, too. I enjoy watching the boats on the waterway a lot.

This is a paved trail along both sides of the canal that separates Venice Beach from the rest of Venice. Great for biking, walking, running and roller blading. It has some benches and picnic tables in the shade.
