We went to Vanderbilt beach twice during our last week in Naples. We had gone to Delnor-Wiggins previously and while it is nice for walking, it was a disappointing beach experience i.e. shells vs powdery sand and not much depth to the beach itself. Vanderbilt was much nicer with the powdery sand and lots of room. Yes it does get... More

This is a beautiful public beach with soft white sand and clear water. There is a large parking garage a short walk to the beach. There are also clean bathrooms nearby. There is a place called Cabana Dan's that rents chairs, cabanas and umbrellas. This beach can get pretty crowded and it's bordered by large resorts and condo complexes, but... More

Parking for beaches along this coast can be difficult & expensive. Arrived in he area & asked a Policeman where we could park & was directed to a 3 floor multi-storey just behind the beach. One price for full day & you could leave & come back as many times as you wanted. Turned up at lunch time parked &... More

We recently traveled to Naples for Spring break and spent a quick visit at Vanderbilt Beach. Their is a parking garage right up the road from the beach and parking is convenient. The beach was clean but very crowded. I would suggest going earlier in the day to claim a spot on the beach.

Parking is a nightmare, so get there early. Once you get your place in the sand, you can walk to the nearby Turtle Club and eat lunch on the beach.

Great beach with beautiful sunset views and not crowded at all! We sat for 2 hours and relaxed and enjoyed the sound of the waves and view. There was a free parking garage and a short walk to the boardwalk on the beach. If you can't get to the Pier at Naples because of the crowds this would be a... More

Nice beach, with parking garage closeby for 8 dollars a day. We grabbed one of the 4 handicapped spot right up front. So it was perfect for someone with walking issues to get to. They have beach rentals of chairs and umbrellas, expensive, but they were great and put the umbrella up for us. BUT, the beach is small, and... More
