The sand sculpture annual event was worth attending. I never felt that it was over crowded but there were several people there on the Sunday afternoon. Some brought chairs to sit and watch the band play and hang out. There were plenty of food and...More

Powdery white sand beach. It was very peaceful to just sit by the water and listen to the serene sound of the waves lapping against the shore. There are some spots along Gulf Blvd with beach access that you can park for free. VERY limited...More

The beach is well maintained (watched them clean it each morning from my balcony) and you can walk and stop at several bars and restaurants along the way. There are also several places to rent chairs and umbrellas so you don't have to haul anything...More

just because there is beach access close to the Inn does not mean the beach is close.....really long walk from hotel to beach....the beach is set back a long long way from the buildings....don't be taking much to the beach with you.

A wonderful time to visit. It has been through a red tide session a few weeks before, but it was ok on my visit. Dolphins seen. Some sting rays in the shallows. Water fairly warm, good enough for a swim when the sun is up....More

Great beach town. We loved it. 11/29-12/2. Lots to eat drink, live music, it was a lot of fun! We will be back..

Love this beach. Hidden gem. You truly cannot ask for a better quality of beach. It's not overcrowded, the water is beautiful, the sand is clean and almost white. It's heaven.

This time of year it was great to spend some time at the beach and unwind. The temperature was perfect, no crowds, and plenty of spots along the beach to stop fr refreshments.

Just amazing. Very clean. Sand white as can be. Lovely to walk this beach. Chair rental reasonable price. Water sports canoes etc for rent. Volley ball nets. Sunsets just spectacular. Never felt over crowded. Lots of families. Easy walk-in distance to amenities and restaurants.

Can be both. It was super hot in April when we were here, and yet today, in August, it was very comfortable.

Alcohol is not allowed on the beach but we commonly put it in a plastic water bottle or take beer in cans. We have never had a problem as long as you do not create a problem. The Bilmar, the Thunderbird and Sloppy Joe's... More
