Normally stunning sunsets and beautiful white sand. August, September, October (unknown end) You cannot get in the water or even near the water during Red-Tide algae bloom. Not adults and certainly not children. There is no condo rental, hotel rental or purchase that is worth...More

I love Treasure Island Beach. I have been there many times over the past 20 years and am never disappointed. It's far less crowded than the big beaches and just as beautiful.

We recently stopped at Treasure Island Beach to check out their beach and facilities while taking a scenic drive out of the Tampa Bay area on our way home. Unfortunately the Gulf beaches have been suffering from a particularly severe outbreak of "red tide",a naturally...More

One of my favorite Florida beaches. It's flat with compacted sand for the most part so it's easy to walk in. From parking, hotels, etc to beach is quite far, probably 100-250 yards. Beach is clean and taken care of, lots of room to roam...More

There was no red tide that we could see, and no red tide smell. The beach was as beautiful as it has ever been.

Always love the wide sandy beaches and sand. Sunsets are beautiful. There is a small problem with red tide so not many people on beach or in water. Town is doing a great job keeping the beaches clean.

Nice clean beach, you can rent umbrellas and chairs if you want. It's fun hunting for shells. It's a great beach for walking!

I have no idea - the red tide comes and goes - you really have to check the local reports - I know it is really bad in Sarasota right now! It can develop in any area fairly quickly!

Can be both. It was super hot in April when we were here, and yet today, in August, it was very comfortable.
