Both sides are available to walk. Ocean side is tree covered winding path opening to terrific ocean views and mostly private beach. Other side opens to intercoastal with lots of signs detailing area and species.

Great Nature Conservancy property that has rocks that are exposed on the beach. When the waves are big they crash into the rocks and water comes up through the holes, hence, blowing rocks.

Lived here for a long time but had never been here. It was beautiful. The kids were fascinated by the waves and the effect on the rocks

Nice lil visitors center and bathrooms as well. Beach area and trail were typical but nice to walk through. If you are out in this area, it is worth stopping at.

Yes it's nice, but not outstanding. If your in the area go see it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to look at a bunch of rocks on the sand.

Make sure you go to Blowing Rocks during high tide. That's when you'll see the awesome explosion of waves blowing through the rocks!

There are only two sections of Florida's coastline that are rocky--this one and Washington Oaks State Park, which is south of St. Augustine. Both are worth a visit! The unique thing about Blowing Rocks is the way the waves crash into the rocky formations and...More

Blowing rocks nature preserve is one of the finest beaches on the treasure coast. It's really amazing on days where the waves are very big. The waves wash ashore, and go through the rocks, which shoots the water into the air. Great aqua show, by...More

We visited the blowing rock preserve and found it to be a very short bit of unusual rock formation along the beach. When we were at the beach, it was not at a good tide for walking along the caves to view the inside, nor...More
