For $10.00 we had a very informative and enjoyable trip. Learned a lot about the different types of sponges. Very friendly staff. Well worth the $10.00 and time.

What a great way to get to see Tarpon Springs harbor and learn about the Sponge Business of Tarpon Springs. For $10 ($9 seniors) you board a replica sponge boat and head out into the harbor to have an authentic demonstration of sponge harvesting. On...More

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The crew was very nice, pleasant boat ride through the area, topped off by a real hard hat diver who went down and brought up a sponge to pass around. Reasonably priced, and included a discount coupon for the gift...More

Only $10 for a 40 min demonstration about the sponge diving and harvesting business. We found it worthwhile and was fascinated watching the diver put on over 170 lbs of gear.

This was a very enjoyable trip, very informational about the area of Tarpon Springs, and sponge diving. It is less than an hour, but the price is very reasonable.

We saw the other reviews on trip advisor and wanted to try this little boat ride. The price was right at $10 a person, and the little white and orange boat fit right in with the Greek look and feel of Tarpon Springs. The older...More

This short boat trip was one of the best parts of our trip. The guide, captain, and others on the boat were very interesting and educational, we got to watch a guy dive in an old-fashioned sponge-diving suit and bring up a freshly harvested sponge,...More

Same for us we saw a stand, but there was more than one tour. This one was part of the state parks. We also took the short trip about 45 minutes. There was a longer trip if you were interested.
