Awesome park for kayaking and relaxing. The scenery is just breathtaking. They have metered parking and sections with beach areas. There are several picnic areas throughout the park.

What a beautiful & relaxing place to visit on a regular basis. Recharge yourself after spending a morning there. Come back in the evening for the ah-mazing sunsets. Even better on a cloudy day!!!

the beach goes outa mile to the Gulf of Mexico there is swimming boat rentals shower and bath wonderful Beach, dolphin encounters also can go fishing there you can also see the lighthouse,across the bay on Anclote Island .

Howard Park is the Gulf beach of my choice! It is very family friendly, scenic and refreshing. The white sand beach is clean. The surf is gentle enough for little ones. There are concessions for food and water fun rentals - paddle boats, kayaks, etc....More

We enjoyed a kayak trip around the park and then a picnic lunch inside. We would have liked to have spent more time at the park since the rain held out but my keyless fob got wet so we spent a chunk of the day...More

One of the most beautiful parks and beach in Florida. Area for cooking out and picnic. The beach is wonderful. Playground, bike riding and even rent bikes or different things.

The water was clear when I was there on the bay side, not on the inlet aide.

yes, limited to the section that is away from the beach area, before you cross the causeway.
