Manatees.

Great place to see manatees. And hey it's free. Can't beat that. They have a ray pool too and you can reach in and touch them. Very nice. Quick stop so beautiful

We were surprised how many Manatees one could see. We have been here several times. Nov till Feb is perhaps the best time to see a lot of these calm animlas. Amazing! The Center is very well organized. A lot of wild life explanations around the large pier.

We were so excited several years ago when moved here and learned about the Manatee viewing center. And every year it gets better. TECO has added and improved the facility every year. It is very respectful to the manatees and also a great learning experience.

if you are from out of state this is great place to take the kids. I live here and go once a year, yes you get to see the manatees but there is a lot of other wild life to see and a nice trail to walk down to the water. The Snook (type of fish) also inhabit the warm... More

Great place to take guests and to educate the young. During the winter months there are many manatee, flying fish and huge sturgeon. Nature walk along the waterway as well as educational displays and demonstrations.

Maybe it is the kids ages or the weather or something, but we really found this super boring. It is free, so I guess that's good?

Great place, go before march. The warm water attracts the manatees. Summer they move to deeper cooler water

Remember this is free and limited by environmentalists in that the Manatees have gone by late April but this is a really good spot to see numerous manatees. If you have never seen one, pop along here to view them plus the large selection of fish that just rest almost under your feet. The facility is smart, well kept and... More

What a great hidden spot! I have lived here most of my life and just went a few months ago. It was really my girl's idea and it was really fun. It only takes an hour or two to see everything so don't plan on staying the whole day. It's worth the trip down to Apollo Beach just to watch... More
