This is my favorite trail for walking. I go every week. Can be busy but not too overcrowded. It feels like you are walking in a park. Plenty of trees, water and open spaces. You would never know that you are near streets and highways. Early in the morning is the best time. Highly recommend.

Well maintained bike path with ups, downs, shade, urban areas, and rural farms with cows and chickens.

I love both running and riding my bike here. During the hot summer months the canopy of trees make for a beautiful location.

Ride my bike quite often on this path. It's safe, clean, and beautiful. It has rest areas with cold drinking water stations and restrooms on the far west side. There is also future expansion in the works.

My favorite thing about this trail are all the shaded trees. Being a local, I come here about once a month. You will see people running, walking, riding bikes and roller blading. There are also picnic tables along the way.

This trail is very well kept. It is paved. There are restrooms with water and parking lots. There is a small fee if you park at a lot. A nice way to feel like you are getting away from the city.

My husband went to Tampa for a convention and I did some research about local area trails. I was really excited to visit this one using the Wilsky Blvd. trail head. The trail was relatively shady and well paced. There was parking for $2, a water filling station, and restrooms. The trail head was easy to find. However, what all... More

This is a great place to ride a bicycle. Unfortunately, the entire trail is not complete. The section between Van Dyke Road and the Suncoast Hwy is true natural Florida, particularly the part the skirts the Booker Creek Headwaters Nature Preserve. The southern part of the trail is not as stunning, but a treasure for such an urban area.

I love biking here. it feels safe, and there are so many interesting things to see. The last time we came we saw Manatees in the river. There is a place to use the restroom and there are location markers on the ground. I love when you go under the bridge and along the water. Plenty of rest areas too.

I've lived in Tampa for seven months now and have tried to find all of the great places to walk, bike or run. The Upper Tampa Bay Trail was another great find. The walking/biking path is wide and well paved. There is room for walkers, bikers and runners. There are water stations along the path and a peaceful feel in... More
