Amazing views of the bay. Its length is quite a feat. Rest areas available at each end. Worth the experience!

Approaching the bridge, it looks like when you climb it, it then drops off into the Bay! Quite unique. Great example of bridge construction. Great view. Cruise ships pass beneath it.

What a view! If you are on the West Coast of Florida- take a trip across the bridge from Sarasota up to St. Petersburg or go south for a great view! 4 lanes with a high elevation in the middle!

We took the bridge over to st Petersburg, and highway 60 causeway back. By all means take the bridge. It is gorgeous scenery all the way across! Next time, I want to be the passenger instead of the driver!

The Bob Graham skyway bridge is a bridge that spans the mouth of Tampa Bay. It is noted as one of the largest cable stayed concrete bridge in the world. The bridge and view are beautiful, I would guess, because the day we were driving there we had a horrible weather, lots of rain and dark clouds so it obviously harmed the experience. If it's possible make sure you go there on a day with decent visibility.

The bridge has a gorgeous view. My boyfriend and I drove it on a rainy day and it was still just as beautiful!! On both ends of the bridge they have piers that you can drive on, because they're about a mile and a half long!! They offer a gorgeous view of the water. And before you get to the... More

This bridge will have no problem with ships sailing under it as it is extremely high. In fact if it is a windy day be prepared to have traffic closed because of potential dangers to drivers.
