A nice hands-on STEAM museum for kids. They’ve had to downsize quite a bit since last year (used to be 2 large buildings but now it’s one level of one building and no cafe). Fortunately they did lower the price and you can complete it...More

My husband and I went to Tampa to celebrate our birthdays and purchased Tampa Trio tickets which gave us admission to the Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, and the Museum of Science and Industry. From laying on the bed of nails to "touching" electricity from...More

My husband and I thot this would be along the lines of Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. Not at all! Wish we had known that it’s only 1 small floor of puzzle-like activities and learning presentations geared towards children and young people. Would not...More

This attraction was in our Tampa Bay CityPass booklet, so we went. It is a great place for kids and teens with lots of hands-on stuff to do. We especially enjoyed the planetarium show. HIghly recommend that show.

If this had not been included in my Tampa CityPass I would have been annoyed. I remembered the old museum and that is what I was expecting. The exhibits were nice, but it was like buying a house and getting a single room instead.

Great place for children. Adults not so much. Thought paying for the planetarium was a ripoff. I don't think half the people that went in paid. Not much of a science museum.

This is simply an educational playground for young children. Do not waste your time or money if you are not taking children with you. Also, the planetarium was outdated. This was a huge let down as it sounds like MOSI used to be great before...More

We are sorry you feel the Saunders Planetarium is outdated. In fact, during or recent renovation we made a significant investment to upgrade all of it elements.

We had kids 12, 9, and almost 5. All had a fun time which can be challenging with the age spread. We paid the extra $7 for the kids to do the outdoor ropes course - all really enjoyed it except the youngest who got...More

Ripoff, you pay entrance , you pay to ride , you pay for the planetarium. The museum is ok, not many things to see. In 1 1/2 hours you are done. There are way better science museums out there .
