Multiple attractions closed and not mentioned on site. Wave pool, two sets of water slides and the cast away section for young kids was unclear on open date. Major disappointment with very little to do for a young child not quite big enough to do big slides.

Made the best of it but for $220 with parking, seemed like they could advertise what’s closed.

A thorough post with information which Adventure Island should actually put on their website. Went on 1st April and actually felt like an April Fool's trick was being played on us. We were a family of three, with a toddler less than 42" - a key minimum height. We were expecting minimum height restrictions so this did not come as a surprise. The main issue were the other conditions and lack of attractions during the visit:

Slides:
1. Aruba Tuba / Calypso Coaster: allows single riders, basically the same slides - one is covered, other is open.
2. Rapids Racer: allows single riders, less than mediocre slide
3. Wahoo Remix: 2+ riders needed, kids less than 42" allowed with life vests. A pretty decent slide.
4. Solar Vortex: 2+ riders needed.
5. Vanish Point: non-operational.
6. Collosal Curl: 2 or 4 riders needed.
7. Caribbean Corkscrew: non-operational.
8. Riptide: single riders allowed, decent front facing slide
9. Water Moccasin: non-operational

Pools:
1. Shaka Laka Shores (kids wet play area): decent space, with some water outlets not working
2. Endless Surf (wave pool): non-operational
3. Rambling Bayou (lazy river): decently long and takes you around the park, a section of it was non-accessible.
4. Paradise Lagoon: family friendly pool area

My main complain is the lack of information available on the closed attractions and the fact that the most fun slides need 2+ riders. There is no provision made for single riders being clubbed together either. Short of leaving my toddler to fend for himself and me & my wife going on the slides, there was nothing that could be done. Along with that, most of the (drinking) water fountains were not working.

We had booked one of the loungers, which was quite handy and came with it's own lock box. Mobile food ordering is quite crappy with limited options for delivery service. We had ordered pizzas from Colossal Snacks which was meant to be collected at 2 pm, but upon reaching the counter and enquiring, I found the staff taking out pre-made pizzas from the fridge and putting them in the oven while I was waiting. Fails the purpose of a "pre-order".

The staff in general were quite courteous, smiling and helpful. The lifeguards also earned their keep at the Cliff Jumps to save a drowing girl.

At the end of the day, I was just happy that I had bought extremely discounted tickets (34 USD per person for single day valid for 1 year), paid for regular parking (not VIP) and got a lounger. For what I got on the day, the money I spent seemed adequate.

TIPS:
- Bring your own towels
- Bring an empty water bottle and refill
- Get the Shaka Laka lounger if you have little kids, get a Duval St lounger to stay under the trees
- Buy a regular parking and go all the way to the back of the parking. You'll be able to park right behind the VIP area.

I purchased the 2 park pass with the hotel accommodations for me and my family. I regret not looking at the reviews before we bought them, but it included Busch Gardens which we were going to go to anyways so I figured it was fine. Boy was I wrong. Showed up and 2/3 of the park was shut down. Maybe I would give them a higher rating if I actually got to ride some of the slides, but it was just so disappointing that we decided to just leave and go to Busch Gardens. Complete waste of time and money. Fortunately parking was included so we didn't get scammed out of $32 like a lot of other people have been reporting.

We spent a good $10,000 to hit Sea world, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, and Discovery Cove. Arrived at Adventure Island to be told they are “open” but under staffed so only 5 of 12 attractions are open. 2 being a lazy river and a pool. Only 3 slides open. I stood in line for guest services where the management was clearly moving slow to keep the line long and lose less money giving refunds. They are not being helpful at all. The park was only open 10 am to 5 pm and I spent most of that time in line. Don’t waste your time coming here. This park has no towels for out of town visitors as well. Just pass and do something else.

Honestly the biggest scam in this area outside of extended car warranties!
After paying $32 plus tax for parking and 5 tickets (2 adults and 3 kids) we found that only 2 of the water rides were open, the wave pool and all rides that are the reason you come to this place we're taped off with 'attraction closed' signs. Needless to say the 2 open rides and lazy river are absolutely ram packed, we are currently waiting in line with an enormous amount of angry people all in the same position as us. It's spring break and I don't think it acceptable at all to have such a poorly run park at this time of the year.

If there was a button to give this place negative stars it would be hit, a 2 hour round trip with restless kids, exorbitant parking and entrance prices coupled with all the ride closures makes this place an "avoid altogether" day out.

We attempted to go to Adventure Island on 3/14/2024. When we arrived to the parking kiosk, the worker told us that only 10% of the park is open! I'm not sure when this will change, but beware! We left and went to Busch Gardens instead (we had 2 day tickets to either). But we bought swim shirts and shoes, all geared up for the water park :(

What a “SCAM” today! Admission was $50 each, $34 to park, $25 for a locker ! Once inside we are told only a few slides are open ! Actually was just “ 1 “ to start, through the day 2 more opened and 1 pool half opened! They said they have NO staff ( lifeguards ) to open anything else up. And of course they don’t put up any notifications on their Website telling you this !
They should be ashamed for charging everyone full prices for a water park you can hardly use and of course what was open had stupid long lines !
So my conclusion, anyone down here boycott anything associated with SeaWorld! Never ever going to get another red cent from me.

March 14, 20204. Do not go. Today short staffed. One ride open, not even water in wave pool. Line up at customer service too long. Called company. Rep said all rides open. Asked to speak to supervisor, as we are there and one ride only open. Rep hung up on me. DO NOT GO!!!

The park was Massive and we could see the Park rides from Busch Gardens from one of the slides. I do have favorites, My favorite slide must have been the Wahoo Remix.
I do suggest that you come here early because we had more than a half-an-hour Wait to get in also including security But it was worth the Wait. just Maybe go on a weekday, during the weekend me and my freinds went to go get lunch and the line was Huge! We ended up just going to a nearby restaurant, They gave me a ticket that I show the girl at the front to get back in Without paying again. We rented a cabana with a mini fridge. I will definitely be coming back this March!
