The temporary exhibits are always very thought-provoking. I often combine a visit to the museum with an evening at the Fallon Theater, where the FSU Theater School presents many splendid productions. Opening nights are often coordinated with the new exhibit openings, in fact.

Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy museums. World War II through the eyes of the participants was the special exhibition at the time of our visit. Well arranged; very informative explanations and commentary with the displays. Nice location on campus.

This museum sometimes has great temporary exhibits. As a lover of fine art, and former art school student, I highly recommend visiting this place to feel enriched. Check online or in paper for the current exhibit before you go. You probably won't see a lot...More

if you are on the campus, a stop at the art museum can be worthwhile – obviously the quality of the visit will much depend on the art currently being exhibited.
