We had a great time and loved how close the springs were located to the campground. The staff was very friendly for the most part. When we went there was a burn ban in place so that was a bummer but out of their control. The bathrooms were kept clean and stocked. We will be back! Loved the snorkeling

A nice day paddle. You can bring your own or rent from the outfitter at the park. They have canoes and kayaks. You paddle down the shallow crystal clear waters where a shuttle will take you and your vessels back to the top. You can not bring any disposable items with you, as they are trying to keep the river... More

I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research before coming here. This was our first camping experience so I can't really compare it to other campgrounds, but this place was amazing and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean, they had a room just for washing dishes and the nature trails were really nice. We saw a... More

Beautiful location off SR 40. Great for all types of day trips (families, friends, solo, etc.). Water is 72 Degrees year round and completely Clear! Several pavilions for picnicking and plenty of land to make your own picnic spot. Also ha a few trails to walk and explore. One main trail leads you back into more natural springs.

This place is amazing! They are very strict with disposables and the results are obvious. We did the kayak run and saw not one piece of trash. The run took us 3.5 hours. We chose to rent kayaks instead of bringing our own for convenience. Either way, plan on it taking about 30-40 minutes to pay, take the mini-class, and... More

My husband and I stayed here 2/28/17-3/1/17. We really enjoyed it. It is primitive camping. The sites are well placed and kept up. There is a picnic table, grill and fire ring. There are nice trails where we were delighted to see an otter catching fish and eating its breakfast. It was the fattest otter we have ever seen. We... More

We visited this camp site during January with 2 families, children ranged from 1 to 13. This place is wonderful. The campsites are clean and well maintained. They get everyone to quiet down at 10pm which nice if there are a bunch of college kids partying. The trails are great and full of nature. On the first day we saw... More

My family looked forward to visiting Juniper Springs, drove 45 minutes and paid the entrance fee, walked to the boardwalk only to find it closed. Staff was not sympathetic to our requests for our money back. Not worth the visit!

We are very sorry that the boardwalk is closed. We know it is a popular feature, but unfortunately it was damaged in a storm last year. We have the money and materials to repair it, but we are still waiting on permission from the US Forest Service, which owns the whole area (we are the operator). I am meeting with... More

While in the Ocala, Florida area we happened along this nice recreation area. While we were not there to go camping, we did notice the campsites were very nice. The park is definitely one of the cleanest we have ever seen. Unfortunately, one of the boardwalk areas were closed due to damage from Hurricane Matthew, and another one of the... More
