Turtle Beach is a short drive from Siesta Keys Beach of which I prefer. Nice Beach but nothing can compare to siesta keys beach.

Fairly steep little beach at the south end of siesta key. It was not overly crowded and not much for facilities nearby. Great place to find shells with kids though.

We were checking out all the different beaches in the area so we decided to find Turtle Beach . Its a major turtle nesting area. The beach is nothing special . We took one picture and left .

Take one small access path to this beach. Near the yacht sales center (we found parking there.) No bathrooms but not crowded like Siesta Key.

Although just a few miles from the #1 beach in America, Siesta Beach, Turtle is about as different as it could be. Still a nice spot in Siesta Key, but no life guards, no facilities, and no food services, but if you're looking for some...More

I can't say enough great things about this beach!!! It's quiet and secluded, offering the same exact water clarity than the over populated Siesta and Crescent Beaches.

Clean, lots of sand dollars. All broken but I'm sure you would be able to find a whole one if your there at the right time. Water and sand are a more murky. Still a great beach!

Take Clark Road (Rt 72) West to Stikney Bridge over to Siesta Key. Once over and to the "T" in the road, go LEFT. Travel on Midnight Pass Rd (South) for @2 miles or so and Turtle Beach will be on the Right. IF you go past... More

Not sure why all sand is not the same, but I do know that Turtle Beach sand is more course and made up from shells while Siesta Key, Lido, Cresent sand is made up of quartz so it is soft and powdery. Turtle beach is a nice... More

Not sure, but I think Siesta Key Public beach it kinda far from Turtle Beach....I would say no. Maybe call some of the places in Turtle Beach and ask them? Call a restaurant maybe under the pretense of eating there. Or call... More
