Really nice beach, the sand is not as soft or white as Siesta beach but I nice little area with much smaller crowds. Also a great place to find some decent shells.

75-80 degrees and sun. Sunsets every night where epic. Visit Siesta Beach, stay at Turtle Beach. No traffic! We are already planning to go back.

Very nice beach, south end of the key. Great for shells, watching the Pelicans fish and even saw some dolphins right off the shore. Salt and Pepper colored sands.

The sand is different from Siesta Key Beach it has a little more grit and has a black tint. It’s not as congested as the other beaches. It has a nice bathroom and tons of parking.

My husband, teenage son and I rode our bikes from Siesta Key Village to Turtle Beach. It's quite a nice beach, with ample free parking, restroom and the outdoor freestanding shower to wash sand from feet. There's even a children's playground on the right-side when...More

Beach is wonderful, the color of the ocean is incredible, depending on the time of the year you can find turtles. We didn’t, but was amazing, don’t mis the time to visit this marvelous beach if you are near Siesta Key or Sarasota.

only went for a couple of hours but it was nice and good parking available for free so no need to find all those spare 25 cents

Turtle beach is quiet, clean and not crowded. There was plenty of available parking and it was only 1 minute from the cozy cove condos where we stayed. Picnic tables and picnic areas are available for all to use. Great place.

This beach is so nice. It's quiet with super soft white sand. The Water is a gorgeous blue makes you feel like you're in the tropics. It's perfect for families, couples or even just by yourself!

Not sure why all sand is not the same, but I do know that Turtle Beach sand is more course and made up from shells while Siesta Key, Lido, Cresent sand is made up of quartz so it is soft and powdery. Turtle beach is a nice... More
