Just a hang out beach not a stressed out place with too many noisy activities. Good elbow room to fly kites and listen to latest light jazz on waterproof ear buds.

Siesta key beach in Sarasota Florida is the most beautiful beach in the United stated. The sand is white and just like walking on powder. You can always get a spot on the beach. From the parking lot it is a little walk across the sand to the water but it is worth it.on Sunday night there is the circle... More

The beach is wide and plenty of room for find your own little acre of white. The waves are gentle on this beach like all Florida West Coast Beaches, and shallow water awaits you. Buy a cheap Noodle and cheap umbrella from your favorite local store (you know who I mean) and just float and chat with friends. The sun... More

Siesta Key is terribly overbuilt with traffic moving at snail pace. This does not fit my interest in finding a peaceful, low traffic place. In addition the area was experiencing a significant threat from "red tide" which was causing many beach walkers to experience respiratory irritation and coughing. I see this as being a bigger threat than the public seems... More

Wow Siesta Beach selected as #5 Best Beach in the World! The most unique characteristic is the white, powder-soft sand. The beach is wide, so plenty of room for all. There are natural areas nearby if you want to move your beach chair away from the crowds. Gorgeous sunsets. New restroom and snack facilities nearby. Lifeguards during the day. And... More

Beach was pretty, but very crowded. The parking lot was very crowded too. Maybe it would be fun for families with children, but I enjoy a more quiet beach.

Beautiful! Great for enjoying the sun, a swim in the Gulf, a walk on the beach and beautiful sunsets. If you stay on Siesta Key, you already have a place to park. During February and March, there is traffic over the bridges - other people have come to enjoy and escape the snow. You have to be patient, or come... More

White sand, blue water. What more can you ask for? The sand feels like snow (if snow was warm) Parking is a nightmare that would be the only negative.
