We walked quickly and finished in 1hr45m stopping to read signs and appreciate the view - 2h30m would be plenty of time.

This short day walk-around 2.5 hours is just great. It's best in my view to walk anticlockwise heading up the forested hill. You then track a lovely lookout from which you can descend on the cape edge with glimpses of ocean view.
