My hubby and I saw this play last week with 2 other couples. We thought it was hilarous. However, our friends were extremely disappointed. Reason being...they had seen it in another location and said the Sarasota actors had completely altered the script. They added a...More

WCBTT is a Sarasota gem and has significant Community support. The True has been diversifying from its roots, however, into serious drama/theater rather than sticking with its core asset: excellent vocals and dancing productions. Such talent in all productions. If you can schedule a night here when in Sarasota, DO IT! A very talented and dedicated group of actors. Nate Jacobs is to be commended for his devotion to this cultural asset.

We attended August Wilson's "The Piano Lesson" and were very impressed with the talent and venue. This is an intimate theater experience, the whole house is very close to the stage on three sides. The performers were excellent.

Enjoyed the talented production of the Piano. It was a little long, but the acting was exceptional. Look forward to returning to see their next production.
