A very nice area for birds to recover from illness or injury. They are rehabbed and set free if possible. The cages/enclosures are clean and large given the condition of the birds. Many of the birds have been hit by cars or boats. Very sad...More

This is a place that has an admirable mission. I feel it needs the support of the community. Their work should be applauded. We saw many birds that have been rescued up close and learned a lot about the seabirds and raptors. A must see.

Stopped here between trips at Mote aquarium. Lots of birds here. They ask for a donation on the honor system. Sadly, nobody was on hand to answer questions. But it was a self-guided tour, and there were many different birds to see. Owls, Hawks, Pelicans,...More

I just LOVE this place. It's small enough to wander through and see all the enclosures in an hour even if you linger. They save injured wild birds and release where they can, otherwise the birds live their lives here. Shaded by trees, next the...More

This was a lovely addition to our trip to the Mote aquarium. They share a parking lot and you get half off your ticket here with a same day aquarium ticket. They have lots of birds from owls to pelicans and crows to pigeons. it...More

Save Our Seabirds is an important rescue organization with a facility in the parking lot of MOTE marine. SOS is a worthwhile and educational addition to a day at MOTE - perfect for smaller kids too.
