Neat hands on with the wildlife. Animals were up close. Almost like in their natural surroundings. Great for kids of all ages. Loved volunteer Virginia. Manatees were awesome. Hint... Listen closely. Under water microphones to hear them under water! Otters were great.

Grandma and Grandpa, two teens...that's almost an $80 admission fee. But...aside from the sights, it goes to a good cause. The kids loved the contact with the sea creatures; Grandma liked it too. It was a bit too smiley for me. The displays are quite nice and seeing some of these beasts close up is wonderful. Their approach is targeted... More

We went here on a rainy day of our trip so there were a lot of other visitors, which made it pretty crowded in such a small place. We planned on coming after running into one of their workers checking on turtle nests by our condo. She was very friendly and gave us lots of information and a brochure. Our... More

We had my 3 grandchildren for a sleepover so I went to Trip Advisor to find something to entertain them while they were here. I read some of the reviews to my 8 (almost), 10 and 11 year old and they all were excited and wanted to go. My husband felt it was a little expensive at first (19.95 adults... More

I took my friend and her two young daughters to the Mote and the girls just went crazy! I don't know which they liked more; the manatees, the sharks, or the otters. I think what really blew me away is that the otters have the same names as my grandchildren! The Mote is such a great place for anyone of... More

Not a great beach day so we headed to the Mote marine and what a great place it was. We really enjoyed the sea turtle section. All the volunteers are very informative. A must visit

There is a wide range of water creatures to look at. There were lots of staff around with information about what you were looking at. The tanks were clean and easy to see into. There were several spots to touch real sea animals such as sharks, sting rays, star fish, sea urchins, etc. They have a great new otter exhibit... More

My family and I took a trip to Sarasota, Florida and the Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium was one of the main attractions on our list. And boy did it deliver! The amount of live fish and other underwater creatures was spectacular and the fact that we were able to watch the sea turtles being fed was a huge plus... More

This was a great day out! There is so much to see and something for everyone. Whether you like sea turtles, manatees, otters, sharks or any other sea life, you will find it at Mote. The "baby" exhibit is a must.
