This opera house is cozy and intimate with the performers. The Victorian motif lends a feeling of elegance for a reasonable price. Parking is difficult but the Valet service worked well. The waiting area is a bit stark.

A "must see" if your're in Sarasota from October to March. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are great and the view from any seat is fine because of the small size of the theatre. The sets and costumes are top...More

I attended all four productions of the Sarasota Opera winter festival. The opera house is just 1200 seats, acoustics and sight lines are very good. Excellent variety and very strong singers. Would highly recommend this company if you are visiting Sarasota.
