Gorgeous gardens a short walk along the waterfront from Downtown Sarasota. The museum was interesting but the highlight is definitely the gardens and the different species of plants. Highly recommend a visit to these beautiful gardens
The park is very beautiful! We wandered the grounds and loved all the natural beauty! I especially loved the children’s area. It was fun to climb up the ramps and see things from a different perspective. The orchids were also impressive. They have so much...More
The admission is too high for what they offer. The gardens are small and mediocre. One palm tree we were interested in and there was no sign to tell us what it was.

I did not get an advance ticket and didn't have a problem at all getting in. The parking can get a little tight across the street. I'd recommend getting there early. If there's an event or something, perhaps tickets ahead would be a nice idea. The only thing going on when I went was the Costa Rican mast making at the mansion and a plant sale.
