One of my favorites

The causeway is great for sitting and relaxing, watching for dolphin, fishing and watching the kite surfers on a windy day.

This causeway joins 3 island . On the 2 islands there are parking for people who would like to stop and swim, or fish. It is beautiful, and graceful in its construction

Every time I cross the causeway, I am astounded by the beauty of the water views, the parks, the beaches and the trees. This is truly Paridise.

One of my favorite parts of coming to Sanibel is driving across the causeway. Very beautiful sights of Sanibel, ocean and little beaches off of the causeway

We enjoyed walking along the water. Easy parking off the bridge. Peaceful. We watched several pelicans dive down to catch fish which our kids certainly enjoyed. We also found a dead stingray washed up on shore...

It will cost you $6.00 to enter the island but you don't have to pay to get off. I couldn't find this information readily so I hope this helps. There are a number of places where you can pull off to picnic on the causeway and a turn around area just before you get back to the mainland if you... More

Came just in time for the sunset yesterday! Since January is not as busy as the holidays, it was easy to find a parking spot, and easy to get off the island. This is such a cool area, and we appreciated the free parking.

We visited here for the Holidays. This Hugh bridge connects Fort myers to Sanibel Island. It is very high and offers great views of Fort Myers beach, Sanibel Island, and light house. Plenty of parking with beach access under the bridge for swimming, pick nicks or fishing.

I read a lot about the causeway that it is a great place to shell and see dolphins and spend the day. While it was a cool place to stop I would not think I could spend the day there. On our way in to Sanibel we stopped at both stops - A and B. So exciting to see the... More
