This Dome ought to be closed and torn down. The bats and cockroaches were everywhere in the upper level. Maybe that's why its closed now. Its pretty bad when your Spring Training facility is nicer than your home Stadium.

Im a big baseball fan, so this is the closest place to get it. The stadium is a terrible place for baseball. You ignore the stadium and enjoy the game.

The Trop takes a beating from TV viewers, and understandably so: it looks dark inside, the fake grass looks mangy, it’s indoors in beautiful Florida, and there are seemingly always lots of empty seats. Going there in person however, tells a somewhat different story (although...More

We are from Massachusetts so are accustomed to long lines and no parking at Fenway. Pleasantly, we were able to walk right in with no waiting at security & consessions at Tropicana Field. The seats were comfy, bathrooms clean & the game was fun.

The Tropicana Field is by far the most reasonable place to watch MLB anywhere. You can take the family here for a ball game without breaking the bank.

If you like baseball this is not the place to go. It is empty, it echoes and the sound system is like a high school gymnasium. The only saving grace is that the temperature is right all the time.

I would give this one star if it weren't for my love of MLB. I have visited maybe 15 MLB venues around the country. This is, by far, the very worst. I am a Rays fan, having lived in Tampa now for almost 20 years,...More
