Haley, I'm glad you had a good time on the water with us. Chad was your instructor, and like all of our coaches he is certified and has a real passion for getting others turned on to paddling. We hope you come out and play...More

We didn't make reservations, but were still able to rent a tandem kayak. The staff was friendly and the equipment was in great shape. Really enjoyed our trip!

Rented 2 tandems for 2 hrs. Staff was helpful in describing where to go and was spot on with how long it would take. Dry bag was included with rental. Will be back. (Separate review of kayak trip under Weedon Island Preserve.)

My 3 sons (ages 13, 11, and 8 years) and I rented kayaks for 4 hours and paddled the entire 4-mile loop around Weedon island. The scenery is beautiful and the mangrove tunnels are super cool. We had a challenging 45 minutes or so when...More

The Staff is nice, the tide was very low when we went, put on sunscreen and bug spray before you get there(tops of knees and back of the neck are crucial), do not do the trail backwards as many guide signs will not be visible,...More

Perfect Outing for an Adventure. Rent for 1, 2 or 4 hours and explore the waters of Tampa Bay. Such a beautiful wildlife retreat.

Because the tide schedule changes daily, I would suggest that you call Sweetwater directly to get this information. The first time I paddled at Weedon Preserve, the tide was too low to access the tunnels at all. The second... More
