I am not a Dali fan, but I found this museum very interesting. It is relatively small, but I spent here many hours in order to appreciate all the artwork they have on display. I recommend you to come as early as you can, as the museum is very popular, and with so many people, it can be overwhelming. First... More

Great place to visit - most of the exhibits are painting- Dali produced huge amounts of sculpture which sadly are not represented in this museum ( there are a few to be honest) $25 per adult entrance fee is a little step

The line to get into the parking area should have tipped me off that the place was overcrowded. The long line to pay for a ticket should have been my second warning. I must be an idiot to have paid $10 for parking and $24 for admission to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition and the Dali works displayed. Frida Kahlo... More

A very busy place with a cafe and docents to lead as well. It was so busy that the drink bar was not out in the garden. There is a lovely garden; it is near the waterfront and it is a beaufiful building as well.

My wife is an artist and enjoyed both the Dali and the traveling Freida Kohla exhibit. My wife loved both exhibits, I liked the Dali collection a great deal. Many of his best works are at the museum and I found them very thought provoking, far beyond the traditional masters, but still displaying great artistic skill.

Regardless of the age, one can learn and also absorb this surprising Exhibit of ART. Too intense to explain, see it for yourself. Give at least 4 hours of your time to absorb the impact of presentations.

The Dali Museum, located in downtown St. Petersburg, is a wonderfully laid out, small museum featuring works that expose Dali's enormous if rather bizarre talent. We were also treated to the Frida Kahlo exhibit when we visited. The museum also includes a nice little café. Well done.

They've presented his work in somewhat chronological order, so it's easier to see how his art evolved, and provided good written narrative to help you put his work in the context of his life. Audio tours and docent-led tours are available, but we didn't use them. Expect crowds on weekends and in high season. We didn't wait to get in,... More

Usually I am leery of docents at museums. However, I cannot suggest strongly enough that you join a docent tour when you come to this museum. They are entertaining and knowledgable, but most importantly, they know how to show you the elements of the Dali paintings which you would otherwise have no idea were present. Absolutely essential - I left... More

Amazing! You probably could see the entire Dali permanent collection at a fast pace in 60 minutes but we stayed for over 3 hours in just the Dali exhibit. We could have stayed for a couple more hours. The docents are incredibly informative and entertaining. I highly recommend taking an hour tour with a docent. It's free and there's one... More
