Walks on the beach searching for shells, dolphins and sunsets did not disappoint ... old friends made their first visit to this friendly vacation spot and were so impressed, they plan to return next year. Construction was dusty and noisy but hopefully this project is making good progress.

We drove down from St. Pete beach. Nice quaint little town. Large beach. Several little shops and places to eat. Would be nice place to ride a bike around

If you want a Florida beach without high rises, crowds and traffic, this is the one. If you want grocery stores and lots of restaurants and all the rest, it's just a quick drive from here.

A beautiful little island, just a block wide, on the Gulf of Mexico. Voted sunset capital of Florida. Beautiful beach, fishing, boating, quaint cottages and the worlds shortest Main Street.

Located on the southern part of the St Pete Beach peninsula, this area is worth a little sight seeing. It's an old laid-back part, with many interesting eclectic home styles, and several nice seafood restaurants.....several right on the beach or the back water.

This was a very lovely beach, close to the paid parking. Unfortunately where we were on Pass a Grille there were no public toilets or showers.

We took two boat tours (sunset cruise & dolphin watch) which were fun and educational about the islands, bay and area. We walked the beach and at the end there is a fishing area as well as a huge area of shells that washed up there on beach. Also watching the pelicans in their synchronized flight and plunging diving into... More

Whether you arrive from St. Pete Beach by walking on the beach or you take the Beach Trolley, spending an afternoon at Pass-a-Grille is a must. It's laid back atmosphere with great restaurants and quaint shops to stroll around makes a great retreat from the busy tourist areas of St.Petersburg/Clearwater.
