R V park is very nice and the rest of the park is beautiful. Good surf fishing and then bay side is usually great for kayaker and paddle borders. Also good restaurants in 'downtown'. Great bunch of tangers.

We are staying at St George State Park Campground for 2 weeks. The campsite is roomy, the restrooms are clean and the showers hot. The campground staff are very friendly. This is my new happy place. I love listening to the ocean.

The area is well maintained. The only problem, for a photographer, is that it is so plain. The beaches are beautiful white, but they have no character. There are trails to walk but then again, not much character to see. The only wildlife we saw...More

Today we had the pleasure of watching over 40 sea turtles released into the Gulf of Mexico. The turtles were cold stun by the cold snap in FL. Now that the ocean has warmed, the turtles were released!

Have stayed a few times at the camp ground, and spent many days on the beach here, beautiful place. Camp ground is clean, with showers, and tent or RV spots. Beach has many shells for collectors .

We went to the beach access across from the campground access road and walked as far to the tip of the island as we could walk since the tip of the island did have as much foot traffic.

Yes there are sharks, but they don't (generally) bother people.
