Great displays and friendly lady in the Keeper's cottage, then for five dollars you can climb up into the lighthouse. The small ladder to gain access to the top deck may be tricky for larger less-flexible folks....just something to consider.

Be sure to check times so you'll be able to enter the lighthouse. You'll miss much of the history and the beauty if it is closed. There's not much point in my writing it. Enjoy the experience anew for yourself. I belong to the FL...More

This doesn't take very long. Even when you stop and read all the plaques. Great view. Interesting history.

The lighthouse is really a neat thing to do and the small museum next door is nice and a nice break in hot weather.

This Lighthouse was reconstructed through the efforts of many local residents and friends. The story of the bricks used is an amazing story. You need to research this story for your own benefit and enjoyment. It will make you really appreciate this Lughthouse.

It's a nice little activity, especially if you've never been in a real lighthouse. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and everyone enjoyed it, There are a fair amount of steps to climb and then a 10 rung ladder to actually get inside the...More
