Lou, our guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining. The introductory film shows the company's interest in supporting Florida and local producers. Lou briefly but thoroughly explained the distilling process and demonstrating the steps to production. Very interesting to see the hand done bottling process. Lou explained...More

The tour was fun and interesting. However, the bottle of bourbon that I bought was absolutely the worst bourbon I've ever tasted (and I've tasted many bourbons). Should have realized this when the samples they gave out were actually cocktails rather than small sips of...More

Hi David, thank you for your feedback. Glad to hear you enjoyed our tour and also realizing the amount of effort it took to restore this historic building. I'm sorry you were disappointed with the tasting. We offer samples as cocktails because that is how...More

We got a free tour and tasting of hand made whiskey, rum, gin and vodka. Fine place. What is not to love about it? All smiles.

and this is ranked #1? The tour is okay but is obviously geared towards the tram-riding tourist and seems to be a bit "forced" and "scripted" to the point where I actually expected a laugh track at the appropriate points. There is a pleasant museum...More

A newer addition to the St. Augustine's list of things to do, the St. Augustine Distillery definately deserves a visit. The tour only lasts about 45 minutes but boy do you get to try the merchandise!!! The "spirit" guides are phenominal both in terms of...More

This was our first "distillery" tour and it was well worth the time. Had no idea how Bourbon was made and found this to be a very insightful tour. It only takes about half an hour and, the best part, it's free!

We took the tour for the second time recently - much had changed, of course since our first tour was soon after they opened and all that was on offer was the Vodka. If you can, see if you can slide into one of Laura's...More

This place was so much fun and this is coming from someone that doesn't drink alcohol. The free samples were amazing and the tour guide Anna made the tour so much fun!

The distillery was rated as the #1 thing to do, and I'm glad we did it. The tour was fun. It was short, but informative. My husband was able to try some of the beverages, and we bought some from the gift shop.
