San Sebastian Winery, founded in 1996 is located at 157 King Street, St. Augustine, Florida in one of Henry Flagler’s old East Coast Railway buildings located just a few blocks from historic downtown. According to historians, this area is the birthplace of American wine, dating back to 1562. Today, San Sebastian ranks as one of Florida's premium wineries, and remains a pioneer in the development of table, sparkling and dessert wines from hybrid and muscadine grapes. Port and Cream Sherry dessert wines are produced by and sold under the San Sebastian brand. All together, San Sebastian labels have won over 1,600 awards for excellence in winemaking, with more coming in each season. Every year more than 100,000 people are expected to visit the winery’s extensive tasting room and wine shop. San Sebastian Winery has an overall production of over 80,000 cases, (that’s over 960,000 bottles!). San Sebastian wines are sold at the winery and at major supermarkets and wine shops throughout Florida and Georgia. “The Cellar Upstairs” Wine, Jazz & Blues Bar, open weekends, is located on the rooftop of the Winery building and is a best kept secret with locals. The Cellar Upstairs features incredible live music from a wide range of talented local and regional Bands. Relax to the music and enjoy the tremendous views overlooking the St. Augustine skyline while enjoying a glass of San Sebastian Wine, draft beer and light appetizers.

This is a great place to visit. I love coming back again and again. Their tour of the winery is fantastic and can be followed up with a wine tasting. This is probably one of my favorite wineries to visit along with their sister winery,...More

This little winery is so adorable and has the most friendly staff. We got to taste several different kinds of wine and they were great! The prices of the wine to buy afterwards is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend going to the rooftop bar...More

Yup. They make wine in this climate and this is the place to try it. Something a kin to the old Two Buck Chuck at TraderJoe's or a two liter bottle of Gallo's red. Nothing great but an interesting tour and sampling and thevwine is...More

Even though we are not wine drinkers the tour was neat just to learn about their winery. Took us back to were they age the wine. They actually trade wine barrels with the St. Augustine Distillery. At the end of the tour you get to...More

This really isn't a winery tour. It's more of a tasting as the tour is in the city as opposed to being at a vineyard. There were 4-5 different wines sampled with the option to purchase a full glass of 2 other wines for $5...More

We had a fantastic employee give the tour. Not only did she explain how to taste wine properly, she explained how you could use the different wines in cooking but most of all she gave a generous pour of each sample. We went around lunchtime...More

The employee who conducted the tour was very personable. The tasting was great. Although my wife and I aren't big drinkers, we still enjoyed sampling the products. And bought 4 bottles to take home. I'll stop again on our next visit and advise our friends...More
