It is certainly worth your time taking a stroll through this free attraction in St. Augustine. Although not the original church, it sits on an historical spot in the city where the original church stood across from the city square.

Beautiful church. Looks like it fell right out of Spain. The ceiling is a cool bright red color. Building is located right in the heart of Old Town. A must stop and see, as I always come here on my travels to this city.

When visiting St. Augustine it is worth your time to visit the Basilica. The architecture is beautiful. I always light a candle when I visit a church and continued by custom in the Basilica.

Free entry. Majestic ceiling and decorations. spacious. welcoming. Reminded us somewhat of some of the fine cathhedrals in central Europe and France.

No matter what religion you follow, this is a sight to be seen. They just don't create things like this anymore. It's free and you can walk in any time it's open.

Pat G. No, you do not need a ticket. A collection will be taken up at the Offertory, but it is absolutely voluntary. In short, it would not cost you a penny, unless you want to donate.

I'm sorry we only visit in the summer. It's a fully functional church so I would say yes. You can always google their name.
