This is a lovely street filled with shops and museums which makes for a nice stroll to get some Vitamin D and fresh air. Lots to see and experience.

It's very much a touristy area. Since I love shopping and museums, this was an idea. place for me. We were passing by on way to a cruise and noticed the advertisements for the Night of Lights. We were pleasantly surprised to come across this "Old Town". Will definitely return to spend a couple of days in St. Augustine in... More

Because I live here in the "Oldest City" or as it was originally known as "The Oldest European Settlement in the United States," I rarely have the occasion to visit St. George Street, however, when company arrives, that's the first place we head! The entire street is full of wonderful shops as well as a lot of history. Don't be... More

We spent 3 days in St. Augustine and most of our time was spent on St. George Street. It's a must do if you are visiting! We loved the architecture of the historic buildings and we had a great time browsing in the many shops. So many restaurant choices too!! We enjoyed live entertainment at Colonial Quarters and Mia Casa.... More

I always love meandering through the streets and looking at the shops and restaurants, seeing the oldest schoolhouse, and stopping for coffee and chocolates. No cars allowed, so it is easy to walk the streets and see everything. You can spend an hour or all day!

If you go to St. Augustine make sure to have a few hours to roam St. George Street. Great shops, good pubs and fantastic places to eat.

Center of everything, plenty of shops to see from souvenirs, to art, to more upscale options. Many food, snacks and bars.

Long street full of old buidings now converted into shops. Full of character from the time of the original Spanish town.
