Small museum with a variety of exhibits better suited for children. There are some interactive activities for them. We visited on a weekday and they had a tour group of kids. Luckily we were ahead of them so we were able to move through at a good pace. For adults, it's kind of interesting but overpriced.

The "self-guided" tour could have been good and entertaining, however when you make time for Captain Mayhem's (free) assistance, you end up with a gem of a result. He was in character, experienced, knowledgeable and just plain enjoyable. Touring the museum without assistance could be daunting and overwhelming. And I am fairly knowledgeable about the area. The amount of information... More

Over priced, over rated and over crowded. Pretty corny, and not worth the time or money. There are many other attractions where you could better spend your time and money.

I am sorry that you did not have a quality experience within our attraction. It's true, we do get busy on some days, however - we have plenty of customers whom thoroughly enjoy the 800 authentic artifacts and interactive exhibits displayed throughout the museum. That said, we understand that we are not everyone's "cup of tea." If you have more... More

The tour guide was phenomenal! One of the best guides we've ever had. And we've been on tons of tours.

Had a tour with Captain Mayhem. He's interesting, funny, and a great guide. Interesting authentic pirate stuff.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the artifacts in the museum. In some places, this type of museum might be viewed as a little less than serious. That is not the case here - a big collection of real, relevant pieces for the time in history. And you MUST take Captain Mayhem's tour. (several times daily). He truly... More

I'm glad that you were able to take advantage of one of our guided tours (we offer them 4 times on Saturday, and various occasions throughout the year) - we're proud of the knowledge that our Pirates impart, and are pleased to have them as ambassadors for our museum. Thank you so much for such kinds words and for taking... More

We went in expecting "kitchy" and were pleasantly surprised! Tressure hunters Croce and Fisher have combined entertainment with real pirate memorabilia including gold bars, ship logs, guns, and other treasures to create a one- of- a- kind experience. Children and adults will enjoy this. We liked it so much we went back the last time we were in town. If... More

This is my favorite museum I've ever toured. Their exhibits and museum are everything I was taught in public history school an exhibit is supposed to be. It was such an engaging museum, and they gave me the treasure map that is supposed to be for kids because I was so excited to be there. I highly recommend the treasure... More
