My friend and I went to the Babcock Ranch Eco tour for the first time, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The tour guide Kenny was extremely knowledgeable, funny and nice. You learn all about the 4 eco systems, plants, flowers & the wildlife! We stayed afterwards to visit the gift shop & had a great lunch at the Gator Ranch restaurant on the premises. It is definitely a place to visit!

The tour was lovely! Seen tons of animals on our trip. Had a part in the tour you get out and walk. Kenny was awesome. Very knowledgeable. ***BEWARE**** If you do not drive here in a car yourself this is not for you. You will be stranded for hours. Uber or a cab will get you here, but they won't tell you they can't get you home. Called around to 15 cab companies until someone finally agreed to come out here. That took 4 1/2 hours. Staff also were unsure of what to do and they say several people have had the same issue as me. Most coming from Fort Myers. I'm was coming from Punta Gorda.

This was a comfortable and educational tour of the old Babcock Ranch preserve land. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, ecosystems and animals. The "Swamp Buggy" is actually an old converted school bus and it served this purpose well. We went in Sept and so it was basically off season, but not too hot, had fewer people and was very enjoyable.

Enjoyed this tour on Sunday. A joy from start to finish. Greeted by friendly employees at every turn from the gift shop and museum, to our tour guide Carl and the waitress at the Gator Shack who served us a wonderful lunch. All worked to make us feel welcome, entertaining and educating us about the unique history and nature of Babcock Ranch. The swamp buggy ride and our lunch were truly special. So much fun and a treasure, preserving a view of what Florida once was. Great history, wildlife and honest old fashion entertainment. Just loved it.

We are new to living in Florida and were eager to go on the Eco Tour in order to understand our new environment a little better. Babcock Ranch Eco Tours and Terry did not disappoint! We had a blast and it was so informative. You can expect to see wild pigs (and sometimes their babies!), turkeys, other birds, alligators, cows, horses - the list goes on. Highly recommend this adventure - and kids love it. Also recommend staying to have lunch at the on site diner. It was so good and the staff was extremely friendly. We can't wait to go back!
