I had driven by this places dozens of times and rolled my eyes. But when my nephews wanted to go, I did. And I was pleasantly surprised. They were 5 and 8 years old and had a blast. It wasn't bad for the adults either....More

This place was a paradise for my granddaughter who is five and a huge dino fan. We did the fossil dig. Each kid gets to keep three fossils. Gem mining was my fave. Kids get a bag of sand filled with gems. They screen the...More

Been there lots with dinosaur-loving kids. Great Trails, habitats, facts, great signage and exhibits. Recently took my 14-month grandson on a whim. He's far too young for exhibits, but the trails, sound effects and giant Dino's were good for hours of outdoor, unfettered fun for...More

We visited with an 8 and 14 year old. Both had a good time, but you should bring bug spray. The display is set up great and I think us adults had a better time than the kids :)

This was self paced and very informative! Very reasonably priced and it looked very much as one would imagine the 'age' to have been. Fossil and gem finding opportunities were available. There was seating, shade, misters, bathrooms and vending easily available. The shopping area is...More

No hotels, that I would recommend, in the immediate vicinity. You might want to check the Tampa area.
