Fly 'Em High charters is a full service inshore saltwater fishing company. We fish for Tarpon, Snook, Trout, Redfish, Grouper, Scallops and a host of other shallow water species. Capt. Bobby has over 15 years of experience fishing the waters of Charlotte Harbor, Tampa Bay and Homosassa and prides himself on providing a level of customer service that is second to none!

I went tarpon fishing with Captain Bobby last month in Boca Grande and had a amazing time! We went out starting at dusk and Bobby knew exactly where the tarpon were active. He provided clear instructions at what depth to keep our lines and made sure to communicate when we were changing locations. After about an hour, I had my first bite and Bobby did an amazing job maneuvering the boat to make it easier on me when I was reeling in the fish. I ended up catching my first tarpon and it was definitely something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Best memory of 2020! Captain Bobby was friendly, knowledgeable, and an incredible guide. I can’t wait to go back.

Kali, thank you for booking me to take you on your first tarpon fishing experience. You did an awesome job on a fish that didn't want to give up easily and you accomplished what many more experienced fishermen/women spend a lot time trying to do. I'm glad you're hooked now and I look forward to taking you every year.

Capt. Bobby gave us two days of great tarpon fishing. We boated four tarpon including a 120 lb fish and a 160 lb fish! Great action and great conversation. I give Fly 'Em High Charters my highest recommendstion.

My wife and I have been out with Capt. Bobby twice now and had a great experience both times! He is extremely professional and patient with us being fairly new to fishing. We have caught Snook, Trout, Snapper, Grouper, Tarpon and even a Shark! Capt. Bobby’s new boat is very roomy and handled the choppy water great. We will definitely book Capt. Bobby and Fly ‘Em High Charters again!!

First time Tarpon Fishing, loved it, will do it again, Capt. Bobby knows his pray and has made it a point to learn much about the fish, and will put you on the fish and give you the opportunity to catch one. The only reason I didn't catch a fish was me and my bad habits developed from bass fishing, totally different game. A good boat Captain and Guide, thank you for an enjoyable experience.

I chartered Captain Bobby to take my nephew on his first ever tarpon trip in the Boca Grande pass. Capt. Bobby had us on a Tarpon before the sun had even come up. We had a great time fishing, even with the bad tides we still hooked quite a few Tarpon and got to experience one of Florida's most unique fishing experiences. My nephew had a great time and that is all that I can ask for, I would highly recommend taking a trip with Captain Bobby
NOTE: The Captain loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches while out on the boat so be sure to bring one with you for the Captain to enjoy.

Ron I was talking about your trip just the other day and how your nephew jumped a tarpon on his very first bait in the water! We enjoyed having you guys on the boat and look forward to doing it again.

My wife and I called Capt. Bobby to book a tarpon trip on short notice, and he was able to accommodate our tight schedule. I was very pleased with the great communication prior to the trip. We were prepared not to catch fish due to poor fishing conditions reported for the previous days. Capt. Bobby knew exactly what to do, and his tactics and knowledge immediately had us on the fish and hooking up constantly! We only booked a 4hr trip, and I was concerned that we wouldn't have enough time get it done. I was very wrong because we had at least 10 hook-ups and my wife and I both caught some giants!This was by far the best fishing experience of my life and I will definitely be booking future charters with Capt. Bobby!

Thank you so much for the kind words. You and Brittany were an absolute blast to have on the boat. Not only did y'all put a smack down on the Tarpon but it seemed as if we were simply fishing with longtime friends! I very much look forward to having you guys back for future trips!

What a great time and a great captain! We have participated in the ladies day tournament before, but this was the first time with Captain Bobby. I hooked a big (100lb?) Tarpon, got it to the leader to count for our team, and it jumped in the boat! It was a close up fishing experience! Even though it was a little crazy, our Captain made sure were safe, first and foremost and was able to quickly get it back into the water for a quick, humane release and kept us all out of harms way.
Definitely going to book him again soon!

Capt. Bobby is a great guide. He is laid back, polite, professional and very knowledgeable. The boat was clean and stocked with quality gear. My family and I had a great time and we'll definitely book Capt. Bobby again!
