When I visit the base it is normally to visit my parents grave. Occasionally I shop at the commissary with my cousin. The prices are always good. Last year they had a Famiglia Pizza shop that was excellent! Overall the NAS experience is good.

Nice, clean grounds. Guards at the gate are nice and helpful. It’s a military base, so security is tight. Great place for an airshow!

We visited to watch the Blue Angels. There were plenty of people directing traffic and assisting visitors in finding their way around the base. For military families, the Navy Lodge is very accommodating. There are a few restaurants on base but plenty of good restaurants...More

Can't begin to describe how amazing this place is. Free admission, free guided tours from wonderful, knowledgeable volunteers. Too much too see in one day. Blue angels practice here during the week.

Pretty much an entire day there is a lot to see and do and that is of you are a pretty quick traveler and don't spend too much time at each display but well worth it

Think of an airport. If it works to get through TSA, then it will work. Some state driver's licenses do not work for TSA and will not work for this either.

I've never seen a pet inside... but I'm not familiar with their policy on this and didn't see anything on their web-site about it. I'd give the front desk a call and I' sure they can help you. (850) 452-3604 or (850) 452-3606
