It is a wonderful museum with history not only of military planes, but areas that were set up for war days. The children can climb into jets and planes and pretend to fly. You can go with a guided tour and learn about each plane...More

The was a great rainy day activity, but would have been good anytime. My husband, in particular, enjoyed it a lot. They have all types of aircraft from some fairly modern to the earliest days of flight. My favorite aspect was going through the "base"...More

What an amazing day our family spent here! This free museum is full of amazing planes and exhibits. There was plenty to keep our children (5 and 7) busy, including many exhibits where they could climb inside and a themed play area. And for adults,...More

Excellent museum! There are an extraordinary amount of planes/helicopters/etc from both the Marines and Navy and of all eras. We were really hoping to see the Blue Angels practice, since the website said that Tuesday's and Wednesday's were their usual days for viewing and often...More

Great place to take your family and check out the blue angels flight shows. Last weekend was their homecoming but they do other shows.

Whether you are in Pensacola on business or pleasure this museum is a must see. There is so much cool history and 100's of past naval aircraft to see up close and personal.

There are no many places or sightseeing spots in Pensacola but this is definitely one of them. PS! You must know that if the map shows shorter way to the museum then it's wrong...

Be aware that your GPS and Maps App direct you to go to Pensacola Naval Air Station, which is the WRONG entrance. LOOK for the very small brown-and-white sign situated along the busy highway with the name of the museum and directional to make the...More

We are wanting to watch the Blue Angels practice while we are vacationing in Gulf Shores in August. I checked the schedule, and they are at the museum. We watched them practice 3 years ago on the beach in Pensacola and loved it. Even though it was very loud, my daughter loved it too - she has autism. How early do we have to arrive at the museum to be able to get seats to watch them? I am concerned, with her autism my daughter cannot sit for say 2 hours on a bleacher or seat in the blazing sun, then an hour show, she will get heat illness we have found (her body just doesn't regulate temp. well), and it is VERY long to sit with nothing to do. We will bring adequate water, but how early do we have to be out there for a seat? Is there a place for those that are disabled? (She is not physically disabled, just intellectually).

Admission is always FREE! I always make a donation before I leave. You'll have to inquire about tours on arrival. Don't miss the IMAX presentation and simulators (small fees)!
