We visited this beach the last week in August for free with our National Park Pass. We have visited many different beaches in Florida and I think this might be our favorite. The crowds are few, the sand dunes and sea oats are pristine, and...More

Johnson beach is absolutely one of the most pristine beaches in the panhandle of Florida. It is always crowded in the summer on the weekends, but come Monday morning early you can have the beach to yourself. It is absolutely a wonderful family experience here

A beautiful spot for sunning, swimming and sand play. There are picnic pavilions, restrooms, showers, and water fountains. A large parking lot is adjacent to the pavilions. Further down the peninsula are boardwalks across the dunes to enjoy more of the pristine beach. Many like...More

I have enjoyed going to Johnson Beach since I was a kid. A more secluded beach but still with our beautiful white beaches.

You can walk along the pristine beach, or ride a bike or drive through the National Park Road. There are bathrooms and showers in the large club house. There were lifeguards on duty during the weekday. It can get really crowded during the summer, but...More

Johnson's 7-mile long beach is BOTH 3-miles of "FAMILY" beach and 4 miles of "NUDE" beach if desired, including the sand-dunes between the Gulf side beach and the intercostal side beach. It is all a Federal park, so... More
