Watching the Blue Angels practice from the viewing deck of the Pensacola Lighthouse is an exciting experience. From takeoff to landing you have an excellent view and, at least during our visit, the Blues flew directly overhead. Reservations are required and can be made on...More

I experienced the Blue Angels practice from the deck of the Lighthouse - my first time with both the blue angels and a lighthouse. Incredible. The volunteer at the top of the lighthouse was great - he explained a lot of the moves that we...More

Fantástico Museu, home of the Blue Angels. You can see several historical airplanes including some II World War ones.

177 steps doesn't sound like much but it certainly is a trek. Yet very much worth the climb! Everyone working there was so knowledgeable and kind. Be sure and pay $1 for the bottle of water before you head up, the water is super cold...More

Lots of fun things to do there. There is a museum, gift shop, walk to the beach, climb the 177 steps to the top for the most wonderful view.

Went there a year ago and it was nice. No elevator..lol but many steps. It was actually pretty easy to walk to the top They view is great from the top, it is well worth the climb.

Great day! Went to the top of the lighthouse with fantastic views of the gulf. Family friendly activity, but the stairs (177 of them) are not for the feint of heart!

A beautiful sight with lots of history. If you are brave enough you can climb to the top of the lighthouse. Wear tennis shoes, flip flops are not allowed when climbing the tower.

Do you have what it takes to climb to the top of the USA’s tallest lighthouse on gulf coast? Fantastic view of bay/ocean (don’t forget your camera). Museum is air conditioned - lighthouse is not. Good information on lighthouses and coast guard.

Unfortunately children cannot be carried up; it's a Coast Guard regulation and a safety issue. Like you stated, what most guests do is take turns climbing; one or more in your party stays with the child/children while the... More
