The current Cut Up / Cut Out exhibit is excellent. Spent almost an hour admiring the variety of artwork presented in this collection from many artists. This ends June 17th, 2018. This small downtown museum is housed in the old City Jail, which makes it...More

Sorry to say, but this was a really disappointing experience. Only two rather small galleries were open [the same artist in both, whose work didn't appeal to us, but that's obviously a matter of taste]. We forked over $5 each [supposedly half price] and considered...More

The upstairs section was closed so we got in for “half price”. Regular price for seniors is $6.00. “Half price” is $5.00. I guess math is not their strong suit. One artist did carved wood prints. Pretty interesting and the fact sheets added to the...More

We had a very enjoyable visit to the Pensacola Museum of Art. We were very impressed by the Youth exhibit. It amazed me at the talent these children have. I seriously hope they are encouraged to pursue these talents.

This is more of a gallery than a museum as only one artist had a showing and that artist whose name escapes me, had a disturbing exhibit About the treatment of Afro- Americans. I wouldn't recommend this "museum".

Took grandson to the museum and he really enjoyed looking at the art work. It was a good first experience for him to get his feet wet (so to speak) at visiting a museum. Very small.

The building use to be the old Pensacola Jail so it has a ton of history in it's walls, doors and windows! 2 floors, many galleries, elevator to 2nd floor....new exhibits regularly!

This museum contains just a minuscule of the art that is in the area. Interesting and informative, there is a resonance of harmony that promises more growth in the future.

Enjoyed the monthly Gallery Night when admission to the museum in free. Viewed 3 different small exhibits. Spent about 45 minutes to an hour in the museum which itself used to be the city jail. You will enjoy seeing the "cells" with the barred doors....More

Great for an afternoon out of the sun and heat! The small collections are very interesting and I was fortunate enough to see the Legos. The building is the former jail and the architecture is as interesting as the art. Be sure to talk to...More
