Went to shell island via a pontoon rental and had a great day. The kids were able to explore the island while we set up our beach chairs and relaxed with a few drinks. Great time on this uninhabited island. We’ll be back!

This is a peaceful, little excape for the day. Dolphins just off shore to watch, beautfiul beaches to relax on. No facilities at all, which can be hard for those needing a rest room, but that is the only downfall..

Took the Shell Island Shuttle, which was a quick trip and like that the shuttle runs back and forth each hour so you can stay a little while or all day. The beaches are so beautiful, and there were so many shells, and much larger...More

Visited when on a jet ski trip. Beautiful white sand, shells. Trails to hike. Great for all ages, from 3 year old to 60 year old grandmother. Highly recommend a visit.

We went on the first boat of the morning on April 5 (spring break). We found some great shells but not as big a haul as some people's photos make you think you'll find. We spent about 2 hours walking up and down so maybe...More

We went to shell island on a tour with captain Andrews. It was alright for just what it is..... an island with nothing on it. I didn't get to tour the whole island since we were only there for an hour and a half. We...More

We had a terrific time at Shell Island. The beach was gorgeous. We will make it a habit to return to Shell Island during future visits to Panama City Beach. So fun!

The boat ride to shell island was enjoyable. The island is beautiful and the boardwalk through the dunes was a great hike, but there weren't any shells on the island.

The beach here is not crowded so a great place to hang that's not over crowded. If you love to jog or walk the beach line this is a great place. There are no bathrooms or food or drink. There are very little in regards...More

We took a local catamaran to this beach (I believe) and it was simply stunning for the area. We have seen beaches all over the world and this felt like a hidden gem.

We rented our own pontoon. Parked in a shallow inlet at an area where there are old dock ruins. Skinniest part of the island, so our walk was only about 100 yards to get to the beach. Keep in mind, we had to anchor in the... More

I think we paid $15. We enjoy Shell Island. We pack a picnic and take drinks. It's just so pretty, relaxing and not commercialized.
