We rented a boat for the day and traveled to shell island. The sand and water are absolutely amazing. If you go to Panama city go to shell island.

You take a 20 minute boat trip to shell island and you may see dolphins and sting rays. Once you get to Shell Island, the sand is so white and beautiful, you walk up and down picking up shell after shell.

Shell Island is nice to place to visit if you have your own boat or rent pontoon boat. I like to park pontoon boat by shell island to enjoy swim, walk on beautiful sand.

With snorkeling you may be able to see some sea life. When we went it was very windy, so no snorkeling was done. The lagoon side you can’t do much on. There is a walkway that goes through the dunes and the grassy area. I... More
