Beautiful uninhabited island. One side faces the bay. The other side faces the gulf. Lots of sea life and marine life. Beautiful Chrystal clear waters. Lots of shells. Fun outing. Only accessible by boat.

Great place to see one of the cleanest beaches in the area. No services so you need to take chairs food etc with you. But remember not to leave anything there.

We rented a boat for the day and traveled to shell island. The sand and water are absolutely amazing. If you go to Panama city go to shell island.

You take a 20 minute boat trip to shell island and you may see dolphins and sting rays. Once you get to Shell Island, the sand is so white and beautiful, you walk up and down picking up shell after shell.

I think we paid $15. We enjoy Shell Island. We pack a picnic and take drinks. It's just so pretty, relaxing and not commercialized.

I was on Shell Island in the afternoon and it seemed that most of the shells had been picked up earlier. It is not a pleasant place to go in the extreme heat. Maybe it is ok this time of year. In my experience, the very... More

Yes! So many shells! So many millions of them! I even found sand dollars and one that was in perfect condition! I found just a few larger ones! Really take your time and scan the island and wear a lot of sun screen! Happy... More
